In a hard fought encounter, the Banner GAA Ennis u15 hurlers scored an 8 point victory over Parteen in the First Round of the Under 15B Hurling Championship. The Banner raced into an early lead and went 3 points ahead but then Parteen struck for a goal just before the first water break. Later in the first half while playing against the wind Cailum Henchy got in for a goal to put the home side 4 points ahead. It was nip and tuck until the final quarter with Banner always seeming to be able to keep the 4 point gap. It wasn't until the final quarter that the Banner pulled away and created an 8 point gap. Next up is Ennistymon next Monday away from home this time. Photo is of Banner Captain for the evening Caleb Walsh with the referee Kieran Liddane and the Parteen Captain at the coin toss before the match. Well done lads.
