Congratulations to or Junior Hurlers who were tonight crowned league champions with a 3 point win over Smith O'Briens. Banner trailed by a pointat half time 7 points to 6 but seconds half goals proved decisive. After the game County Board Chairman Joe Cooney presented the trophy to Banner captain Cian Rynne. The Banner side are under new management this year, congrats to Tommy Liddy, PAt Devitt, Noel Kenny and the rest of the backroon team. Next up for this team is the Championship semi final most likely in 2 weeks, but for tonight the Banner celebrates promotion in the league. The Banner Ennis Abu!
