The game was played in atrocious conditions for hurling in hailstones and strong winds. The Banner side went ahead early on and lead by 2-08 to 0-03 at half time having played with the aid of a strong breeze in the first half. In the second half the Ennis lads keep up the high level of performance and kept the scoreboard ticking over in the last 30. commiserations to our opponents and thanks and well done also to the Eire Og club for having their field available and playable in the worst of weather conditions.
