This weekend our adult teams earn a well deserved rest . But there’s plenty of championship action for Banner supporters on Sunday as our minor hurlers take on CorofinRuan in Corofin at 5pm on Sunday evening where the winners will secure a quarter final place in the Minor u17B hurling championship. The matches in this competition have been extremely tight affairs right across the division with very narrow winning margins. To date the Banner lads have 2 wins and a draw , and 2 losses ,the losses l by a point to Broadford and by a goal to ScariffOgonnelloe. There’s a range of permutations that could arise after Sundays matches as 8 of the 9 teams in the competition can still get to a quarter or semi final as there are 6 spots up for grabs with the bottom 3 going into the shield competition. We encourage  all Banner supporters to come to Corofin on Sunday evening to cheer on the lads who have given such great entertainment all summer since the competition commenced in early July.
