Banner Hurling Medal Presentations to Minors and U15s

On Saturday evening we had the opportunity to honour our Minor winning hurling team from 2023, our Feile an nGael winning side from 2022 who were Regional All Ireland runner-up and our U15B Shield winning team from 2023. Our special guest for the evening to present the medals to the boys was Clare Senior Hurler Conor Cleary. Conor spoke to the boys and parents in an inspiring way about valuing and treasuring their achievements but also about pushing themselves to become the best they can become in the coming years as the Banner strives to build on the various successes of the last 5 years at underage and adult level. He also spoke about how he appreciates now the role his parents have had in the sporting careers of himself and his twin brother Eoin in supporting them and how the boys should reflect on that and on how the gear is ‘magically’ clean in the gear bag when you’re heading to training! Everyone at the Banner GAA club, players, parents and committee members are very grateful to Conor for being our guest on the evening, and happy birthday Conor!
