Its been a tough few days for our Junior A footballers recovering from the Junior A final defeat last Sunday, versus Michael Cusacks from Carron. For three-quarters of the game, the sides were either level or a point separated them, but a decisive goal came from Cusacks in the final quarter and our opponents pushed home strongly after that in front of a good attendance in Ennistymon. Congratulations to Michael Cusacks on their deserved victory. This Banner side though, have youth, oodles of potential and talent in their midst. Once they re-group and stay together we will be back next vying to make the leap to the Intermediate ranks. Some great talent coming through from minor and u21s also. Hold your heads high lads, we were proud following you on your journey this year. We will be back better and stronger.
