Congratulations to our Junior hurlers who has a great home win this afternoon versus Sixmilebridge. The Banner side had a storming first half scoring 4 goals. Although the Bridge fought back with some good scores in the second half the Banner ran out winners, with Ian Fox scoring the last point of the game to put it beyond doubt. This game was important as the Banner and Sixmilebridge top the league table. The Banner are now qualified for a semi final in their quest to win promotion. Congrats to the players and to the management team of Tommy Liddy, Pat Devitt and Noel Kenny.
