U14B Football Result

Banner Ennis 4-11 Clarecastle 0-9

Our u14 footballers got the better of Clarecastle at the Banner on Monday night in their final qualifying group game. With the benefit of a bigger panel of players now available Banner showed further signs of improvement and may yet have a  say in this championship. The Ennis lads were solid in Defence but missed some good chances in the first quarter. Clarecastle got some fine scores before the Ennis lads gradually made their strength show. The tie was in the melting pot until a well taken penalty late in the 2nd half took control of the game for the Ennis side. We now await other results to see who we play in the knock out stages.
