Commiserations to our Adult Junior Hurlers who were knocked out of the Championship at the semi final stage on Saturday by the narrowest of margins. Final score was 2-12 to 2-11 in favour of Newmarket on Fergus. The club would like to thank the players and the management team for their efforts all year. This was a tough blow to take but the group did the club proud all year winning the Junior league the previous weekend and securing promotion in the league for next year. The club supporters are grateful for the efforts of everyone involved since the panel started training last January. Most of the panel are involved with our adult footballers who are in Championship semi final action this Sunday and the focus for the next week now shifts to trying to secure a place in the football final.
