Congrats to our Adult Junior 1 Hurling team who scored a 1-15 to 3-06 win over Feakle in the first round of the championship versus Feakle today. The game was played in very hot conditions in Crusheen. At half time the Banner lead by 1-09 to 0-05. There was a worrying end to the game as Feakle scored 3 goals in the second half, but good closing scores by Fiachra Hayes and Danny O'Halloran saw the lads see out the game. As well as the scorers up front the Banner had good displays in the defence from Ronan Collins, Mark Duffy , Andala Flynn and Cian Rynne. Sean Collins was also very dominant around the middle 3rd of the pitch. Well done lads. NExt up is our second hurling team this evening .
